Platform Engineer for T-series Routers (Member Technical Staff)
Prior work experience in the field of Chassis/Interface mgt software. Diagnostics experience would be a big advantage.
Hands-on in UNIX operating systems and UNIX networking stack with good knowledge of Router/Switch arch.
Prior work experience in any one of the fields:
- IP, MPLS, L2/L3 forwarding, Firewall, ACL, VPLS, MVPN, Multicast, QOS, COS, ATM, Frame-relay, L2VPN, L3VPN, PPP, ATCA, SERDES programming and strong in C coding
Experience in design / development of non stop forwarding systems is an added advantage. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
A strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices is desirable.
5+ yrs of experience preferably in a router/switch company with Bachelor/Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

Routing protocol Developer for Common Junos team (Member Technical Staff/Staff Engineer)

Design, develop, and maintain IP routing and MPLS signaling software as part of a strong and dynamic JUNOS Routing Protocols team.

Requires a B.E. or M.E. in CS/EC/IS.

5+ years of experience in related area

- Excellent design, C/C++ programming and debugging skills and a strong systems programming background are required.

- Familiarity with basic networking concepts and TCP/IP is required.

- Experience in at least one routing and signaling protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, LDP, MPLS, BFD, PIM, IGMP or RSVP is required.

DiffServ/QoS Engineer for M-Series routers (Member Technical Staff)
Develop systems and networking software for QoS and DiffServ.
Requires in-depth knowledge of and previous experience with distributed operating systems (preferably UNIX), IPC mechanisms, I/O subsystems and hardware interfaces.
A thorough understanding of QoS concepts such as classification, rate-limiting, shaping, prioritization, queuing, congestion management is required. Experience with hardware implementations of the above schemes is required.
Experience in traffic management and traffic engineering a strong plus. Thorough understanding of queuing theory and strong analytical skills required.
Must have hands on experience in IP QoS architectures such as diffserv and intserv. Systems / Network programming experience in C or C++ required.
5+ years of development experience with B.S. or M.S. in computer science or engineering and experience in real-time, embedded software development in the area of QoS, DiffServ, or RSVP

Microcode Engineer for M-series routers (Member Technical Staff)
Design and develop microcode and drivers for Network Processor:
The candidate must have an extremely strong programming background with expertise in Microcode programming and Device Driver development.
Hands on development experience with “Mindspeed network processor” is highly desirable.
A good networking background particularly in the technology areas like Ethernet & ATM is highly desirable.
The candidate must have strong analytical skills, good communications and documentation skills and the ability to work well in a dynamic group environment.
Experience with carrying out projects through complete life cycle including design, development, documentation, unit/integration testing and sustaining work is desired.
5+ years of development experience with BS in CS or equivalent and applicable software experience

Senior Technical Lead in Layer-2 Bundling Services for M-series routers (Member Technical Staff / Staff Engineer)
Senior engineering position to take a lead role in design and development work
In-depth experience required in the following areas:
Data forwarding in MLPPP/MLFR ( FRF.15 and FRF.16) PPP ( Forwarding and Control) UNIX internals and systems software expertise in developing modular software for networking equipment; Strong C, system design, and debugging skills.
