Engg Manager – Dev for Core router group

HSBU – High End Software Business Unit is responsible for all High end platforms catering to Service provider market (Carrier class products) The product needs to scale and should have high performance. HSBU products work on high end custom built Juniper ASICs, which can handle Tera-bit traffic. Product range would be M320, T320, T640, T1600, TX-Matrix series of routers. At HSBU, we execute projects ranging from HW design, bring up to customer critical features.

Job Description

We are looking for a first line Engineering Manager for our core router team in Bangalore. .

Candidate Requirements

Prior work experience in the field of ASIC based IP/MPLS/Multicast forwarding. Experience in data plane tunneling features like L3VPN, L2VPN, GRE/IPinIP.

In-depth knowledge of Layer 2 switches or L3 routers architecture.

Requires excellent problem solving, analytical skills and an ability to work well in a cross-functional team. Ability to hire, retain and develop high performance teams. Ability to develop and monitor project schedules and timelines to identify and meet critical milestones.

Ability to jump-start projects through hands-on design while building a team.

Experience in dealing with customers and partners on technical and non-technical issues.

Experience: 1-2 years of management experience (overall 10-12 years experience).
